Detailed Itinerary of the 20 Days Safari in Tanzania

Day 1: Arrival to Hotel (Arusha)

You arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport where you are welcomed by a driver guide who takes you through a meet and greet session then briefs you about the road trip safari around Tanzania Zanzibar. Afterwards, he shall drive you around Moshi if you have time then later transfer you to lodge in Arusha. Arusha Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Drive around Arusha then to hotel

Wake up have breakfast then embark to enjoy a drive around Arusha visiting the various safari attractions then after you shall have lunch around the Town. After the drive, you shall transfer back to the hotel/ lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Arusha Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Breakfast in the morning then transfer to Tarangire National Park for a period of 2 to 3 hours watching the green terrain, bird species etc. After a while, you shall reach the park and embark on a Game Drive as you traverse from one point to another watching various wildlife animals wandering around their natural habitat. The wildlife animals you watch include; giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, leopards, hippos etc. Take many photos to keep with you then after a while, you shall get to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park

Early morning breakfast then transfer to enjoy a Full Day Game Drive with packed lunch. You shall get to the park early at 6:30 am and when you reach here, traverse from one point to another looking out for early morning riser wildlife animals like lions, leopards, cheetah etc. You shall traverse from one point to another watching other wildlife animals like giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, leopards, hippos etc. After the morning session, break off for lunch at mid day then later continue on another session which takes you till late evening. Day 5: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Wake up have breakfast then embark on journey to the stunning g Lake Manyara National Park a journey that takes you a period of 1 to 2 hours. En-route enjoy views of the green terrain vegetation, bird species then later you shall reach the Park and embark on a Game Drive as you traverse from one point to another watching many wildlife animals. The wildlife animals you watch include; tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, Leopards, cheetahs, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotami, etc. After the Game Drive, you shall transfer to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Day 13: Transfer to Lake Eyasi (Visit the Hadzabe Tribe)

Delicious breakfast then transfer to the stunning Lake Eyasi for a period of 1 hour watching the green terrain. You shall reach the Lake which is home to the unique tribe of the Hadzabe a candid tribe with about 1,000 people who still take their cultural traditions and customs very serious. They are fond of practicing traditional hunting and gathering. You shall explore their simple, transient huts and learn about their unique traditions and customs as well as way of life. Day 14: Walking with Hadzabe in Lake Eyasi

Enjoy breakfast in the morning then later proceed to visit the Hadzabe community to experience their daily activities. You shall join them on a remarkable expedition where you will participate in hunting and gathering. You shall transfer to search for honey, fruit and wild game. Enjoy a meal with them as well as do a hands-on experience which gives you a chance to have a deep insight into their traditional lifestyle. Day 15: Transfer to Lake Natron

Day 16: Game Drive at Lake Natron

Day 17: Fly to Zanzibar

Delicious morning breakfast then embark on journey to the prominent Zanzibar Island known for its pristine beaches. You shall catch a flight from the Ngare Sero Airstrip to Zanzibar for a period of 1 to 2 hours. After a while you shall drop at the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport where you are welcomed and picked up by a driver guide who takes you around precisely then heads you to your hotel/ resort for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 18: Explore Stone Town, visiting the House of Wonders and Darajani Bazaar

Dioicous morning breakfast then transfer to explore Stone Town where you view various historical buildings, art then proceed to explore the House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib) known to be the first to have Electricity and an elevator in East Africa. You shall have a look at the Historical Exhibits, Architectural Marvel. You shall also visit the Darajani Bazaar (Estella Market) which was named the major market in Stone Town with fresh produce, spices and traditional crafts. Day 19: Visit spice farms and enjoy a dhow cruise at sunset

You shall have breakfast then proceed to visit the spice farms as you get to know more about the island’s agricultural heritage experiencing the scents, flavors that made Zanzibar a unique destination. You shall break off for lunch then continue on an afternoon dhow cruise at sunset. You shall have scenic views of beautiful coastline of the Island.
