Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days Zinave Mozambique Safari and Beach Holiday

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Zinave National Park

Arrive at the Airport then meet our driver guide early morning who picks you up then transfer you on a scenic 4-hour drive (approximately 280 kilometers) north to Zinave National Park referred to as “Parque Nacional do Zinave.” On reaching here, you shall clear your 4×4 vehicle as you go through orientation briefing about the park’s rough terrain, pristine wilderness area. You shall then proceed to the park and watch wildlife animals like elephants, lions and others wandering around their natural habitat. You shall then proceed to set up a camp at the designated camping area close to the Changane River.

Day 2: Game Drives Through Zinave’s Wilderness Areas

You wake up have breakfast then proceed to the Park for drive along the Zinave’s 4,000 square kilometer wilderness sanctuary. You shall explore the route that goes to the Nhanchururu area which covers an area of about 25 kilometers from your base camp. You shall explore through the miombo woodlands and seasonal plains where you watch many bird species as well as the elephant population and take many photos to keep with you. Day 3: Continue Safari Experience with Baobab Tree Platform Visit

Your safari begins with arrival at your beachfront accommodation in Tofo or Barra areas where pristine white sand beaches meet the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. You shall enjoy lunch as you watch the ocean as well as afternoon leisure/ relaxation in Zinave National Park.

Day 5: Proceed with Snorkeling and Marine Activities

You have breakfast then proceed on a full day of exciting marine adventure in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean then proceed for snorkeling excursion at the nearby coral reefs teeming with tropical fish species. You shall watch dolphins, whale sharks (seasonal) and manta rays in the nutrient-rich waters off Inhambane Province.
