Africa has excellent cuisine, along with interesting local dishes served in the top hotels, lodges, camps and restaurants. Many of the more expensive lodges now produce a combination of “Pan-African cuisine” innovative recipes and ingredients from across the continent, and international fare.

Restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world may be found in the larger cities in Africa. Most international travelers are impressed with the quality of the food and drinks served on their safari. The most common “complaint” we hear on safari is “the food was so good I gained weight”. The fresh air will give you a healthy appetite.
